From November through April, we have selected winter salad and cooking greens
and root crops. Availability is limited.
Our winter vegetables are grown on our farm in our garden and in a hoop house
using compost as fertilizer. We use no pesticides or
herbicides. The hoop house extends our growing season.
How wonderful to enjoy freshly picked greens in early
winter!
Our winter salad greens are a multicolored assortment consisting of red and
green lettuce, Asian greens, edible flowers, a radish or two, and/or other salad
goodies as available. They are sold in 1-pound bags.
Our winter cooking greens are a wonderful mix of rainbow chard, spinach, beet
greens, frilled mustard greens, Asian greens, Winterbor kale, Red Russian kale,
and/or others as available. They are sold in 1-pound bags.
